Always wanted to work in a logistics function at a large international company? Due to the favorable market evolution, Caterpillar is urgently looking for warehousemen to join their site in Grimbergen in rotating shifts.

As a Warehouseman at Caterpillar you are responsible, together with your colleagues, for various logistical tasks consisting of:

• order picking
• Inbound - outbound
• repack
• audit
• transportation of goods by forklift truck or ETP

With the right commitment, accurate work and your enthusiasm, you make sure that all orders can leave on time.

• Het onderhoud van een opslagzone en het materieel controleren
• De activiteiten van een team coördineren
• De bevoorrading organiseren en beheren (controle en opvolging van het verbruik, bestellingen, ...)
• De verdeling van de opslagplaatsen op de site organiseren en het beheer opvolgen
• Prestatiegegevens van het personeel verzamelen (verlof, onderbrekingen wegens ziekte, uuroverzichten, ...)
• De activiteit van de heftruckchauffeurs, voorbereiders van orders, ..., plannen volgens de behandelingsvolgorde van de orders
• Bevoorradingsbehoeften bepalen en bestellingen uitvoeren
• De ontvangst van bestellingen controleren
  De behandelingsvolgorde bepalen
• De logistieke activiteiten bij ontvangst, verzending en levering coördineren en controleren
• Interne of externe klanten informeren over de behandeling en opvolging van orders
• De internationale logistieke activiteiten opvolgen
• De opvolggegevens van de activiteiten registreren
  Afwijkingen vaststellen
• Het beheer van product-, goederen- of grondstofvoorraden organiseren of controleren (codering, rotatie, ...)
• Betalingen, klachten en terugzendingen opvolgen
